Dear Thurgood Marshall Families,
A new school year brings new beginnings, and I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Thurgood Marshall Elementary. It is truly an honor to continue serving this amazing community, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
At Thurgood Marshall, we are committed to creating a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment where every student is supported academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether your child is joining us for the first time or returning for another year, we are dedicated to helping them grow, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential. Our school proudly carries the name of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, whose legacy of justice, perseverance, and equality continues to inspire our work every day. As Mustangs, we embody strength, resilience, and unity, moving forward together and lifting one another up as one herd.
This year, our teachers are especially focused on building a strong culture of thinking in every classroom. We want students to be curious, reflective, and confident thinkers who ask questions, explore ideas, and make meaningful connections in their learning. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing engaging and inclusive experiences that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning in every child.
