Parent Engagement

Parents are vital in shaping a child's educational journey and are their primary role models. Their involvement greatly impacts their children's success and the overall effectiveness of schools. To facilitate involvement, parents can join parent clubs, volunteer at school, or serve on district committees. Active parent involvement is encouraged through participation on committees such as: Parent Teacher Club (PTC), School Site Council (SSC), and English Language Acquisition Committee (ELAC). Parents are encouraged to attend educational workshops, district workshops, and parent/teacher/student conferences. Those interested are encouraged to contact their school's principal for further information on how to participate.

Parent Teacher Club (PTC)

A consensus, student-based decision-making model is employed to ensure the representation of all stakeholders. Staff believes parent input is critically important to the success of our school.

Other Opportunities for Involvement

Through the school SSC, ELAC, Curriculum Night, coffee with the principal, Remind, School Messenger, principal Letter, classroom communications, announcements on the school marquee, PeachJar, bulletin boards, school messenger, and parent meetings there is an opportunity for parents to feel connected and involved in the TMES community.
